Implicit Label Number for Optical Packets in Label Switching Networks Based on Spectral Amplitude Coding and OCDM Path

This paper presents an implicit labeling scheme where stacked spectral-amplitude-coding (SAC) labels are inscribed in multiple payload bits the packet front. Reliable label recognition optical switching (OPS) is achieved by analyzing overall decoding results of all labeled instead considering each signal individually. The concept hypothesis testing employed to determine optimal bit number. A decision rule correct designed based on photocurrent mean decoded stacks. Considering noise factors shown process, desired number has been analyzed under different conditions code types, power, and level significance. Simulation provide good suggestions for tradeoff between system insensitivity effects transmission redundancy carrying repetitive information packet.
